Established in 1932, Club de Golfe de Miramar was built to allow portuguese citizens to play golf, which was mostly played by the british comunity in the region. Oporto Golf Club

Established in 1890 by English Port wine producers, it is the oldest golf club in Portugal. Between 1916 and 1947, the club was presided by Frank ‘Smiler’ Yeatman, a golf enthusiast and member of the Yeatman family. The club has a par 71 course, with four par 3 holes, eleven par 4 holes and three par 5 holes. Recently, a pitch and putt course was built to attract younger generations to play golf. International tournaments such as the Skeffington cup, the Dockery cup or the Kendall cup are held every year in this club.
