The name of João Portugal Ramos has been related to Portuguese wines for over 30 years, firstly as consultant winemaker of renowned wine brands, and since 1992, as a producer.
The Alentejo was the region chosen to produce his first wines, extending later his activity to the Ribatejo (Falua) and Beiras (Quinta de Foz de Arouce).
The "Duorum” project at Cima Corgo and Douro Superior in the Douro Valley, was born in 2007. Dourum is the project of two winemakers that have marked Portuguese wine history in recent decades: João Portugal Ramos and José Maria Soares Franco. A project with ambition and scale set to strengthen in both the Portuguese and international markets.
